An international year of prayer for

Church PlantingMoroccans are coming to the Lord. The challenge is to see those saved gathered into stable churches. Which in turn will birth others in their own locale and in other towns. Praise God that in the nineties, a few such churches have emerged and the first Moroccan-led church multiplications and church plants have taken place. The bottleneck in the process is a lack of church planters. In any given town or city neighborhood, there may be several people who have come to the Lord through Christian media, and others who are in touch with Christian mission agencies. Yet, often there is no one to help them form a church. Among both Moroccans and expatriates, only a minority are directly involved in church planting.Christian families may lack the vision or willingness to start a church in their own home. Sadly sometimes using other Christians as his means, the evil one focuses his attacks on those who want to begin this noble task. Church planting does not have to be difficult. It mainly requires a "father’s heart" and an open home. The vision for "a church in my home" is now spreading, especially among Moroccan believers. The day will come when a living, loving, corporate expression of the kingdom of God will be established in every community. "I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Matthew 16:18 "He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."" Luke 10:2 "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Hebrews 12:3
